I haven’t posted a video here for a while, so in an attempt to change that, let me direct your attention to this charming animation by Katy Wang. It’s the music video for Ma Mama, a song by Toto Bona Lokua, a trio of Afro-French musicians.
This is precisely the sort of thing I had hoped Apple Music would recommend to me, but that dream faded a long time ago. I could join Spotify but… reasons. Good job I have Claire’s recommendations to fall back on.
First-time director John Kahrs combines computer-generated and hand-drawn animation techniques to great effect in this Oscar®-nominated short from Disney.
I’ve not been able to get enough of Christian Bale’s recent rant on the set of Terminator 4, yet sadly there has only been audio available for this moment of madness.
Luckily, Joe Butcher has created this brilliant animated accompaniment, which sees Bale in his celebrated role as Batman, shouting at his sidekick Robin. If you haven’t heard the rant yet, be warned that it contains explicit content. Via @cyberdees
