2008 in review
Before such a post becomes embarrassingly late (although I fear we may already have passed such a point) here is a quick run down of what I got up to last year.
A fairly regular tradition where I recap the year gone by.

Holiday and illness means this is the latest I’ve got round to writing a yearly review. Whilst today is possibly the latest I can get away with such a post, I still think it’s important to reflect on the achievements of the previous twelve months.
Last year was notable for a running theme on sustainability; both in the topics I was writing about and my decision not to make any flights as part of a 10:10 pledge to reduce my carbon emissions by 10%. This meant travel was based around the British Isles, and for the first time I visited all four constituent countries of the United Kingdom in one year.
I wasn’t going to write about 2015, but reading a few end-of-year reviews has encouraged me to attempt the same, so here goes…
Looking back on a well-travelled yet otherwise directionless year.
Finding a sanctuary but losing my voice.
Living for the weekday.
Nothing lasts forever.
Everything back to normal.
